OUR
SERVICES
MINDING
Our cattery has always been popular with visitors thanks to the generous size of our enclosures. Each space is larger than you'll find at most other cat boarding facilities, providing plenty of room for your cat to relax and play. Combined with our homely furnishings, cozy sleeping areas and clean, comfortable bedding, it truly is a home away from home.
Single boarders will find a space that perfectly suits their personality - whether they're confident and social or gentle and reserved little souls. We take care to make thoughtful adjustments to ensure every cat feels comfortable and content during their stay.
For families with more than one cat, we offer spacious twin or family enclosures so they can share their holiday with familiar company and feel safe together.
No matter which "room" they have at the inn, every guest enjoys plenty of time to stretch their legs, play, and explore. Afterwards, they can return to their own cozy space to relax and do what cats do best...sleep!
HEATING & COOLING
All our boarding areas are equipped with reverse-cycle heating and cooling, ensuring a comfortable temperature all year round. Our indoor spaces are kept cosy in winter and cool in summer, so every guest feels completely at home.
For our senior guests, or those who simply enjoy a little extra warmth, we provide heated discs during the cooler months to keep them perfectly snug and content throughout their stay.
BEDDING
We supply clean, comfortable bedding and blankets for every guest, but many owners prefer to bring their cat’s own bed or a familiar item from home, such as a piece of clothing belonging to a family member. These familiar scents can help new boarders settle in more quickly, and we’re always happy to accommodate them — one special item is more than enough.
We provide everything your cat needs during their stay, so there’s no need to worry if you can’t bring their favourite armchair or queen-sized bed (haha!).
FOOD
We keep a variety of quality foods on hand to tempt all appetites, but if your cat has specific dietary requirements (prescription or otherwise), you’re welcome to bring their own food — we’ll happily follow your instructions. Rest assured, we’ve never had a cat go hungry!
We provide a premium dry food (Royal Canin Sensible/Digestive) and fresh water, both available at all times. With your permission, we also offer the occasional treat to make our guests feel extra special. Our selection of tinned wet food and fresh kangaroo meat is sure to tempt even the fussiest eaters.
PLEASE NOTE - IMPORTANT
We are unable to supply veterinary prescription diets. If your cat requires a specific veterinary brand of food, please bring enough for the duration of their stay.
VACCINATIONS & MEDICATION

All cats boarding with us must be desexed and vaccinated against feline upper respiratory tract disease (cat flu) and feline enteritis — both of which are highly contagious. Vaccinations should be kept up to date with annual boosters.
If your cat’s vaccinations are not current, they must be administered at least 14 days prior to boarding. Up-to-date vaccination certificates must be provided upon arrival.
If your cat requires medication during their stay, please discuss this when making your booking. We’re happy to administer medications as needed — there is no additional charge for this service.
PLEASE NOTE - IMPORTANT:
Under NO circumstances can we accept a cat for boarding without proof of current vaccinations. You must present your cat’s certificate, or a copy of it, at drop-off.
VETERINARY ATTENDANCE

We take all contact details upon arrival to ensure we can reach you if needed. While we always consult with your cat’s own veterinarian first, we are supported 24 hours a day by the wonderful team at Wandin Veterinary Clinic. They are our on-call vets and, in an emergency, are happy to liaise with your regular vet if required.
We are fortunate to have access to excellent veterinary care in our area, so you can rest assured that every boarder is in safe and capable hands.

CHECKOUT
​Checkout is before 9:30am on the day of departure. No fee is charged for the day of departure.
You may collect your pet(s) between 5:00-5:30 pm on the day prior to your scheduled departure.
Please note: Afternoon departures are not available on the day before a public holiday.​
ARRIVALS AND DEPARTURES
We are open between 8:00-9:30am and 5:00-5:30pm every day.
Public Holidays - CLOSED
OUR RATES
1 Cat - $27.00 per night
2 Cats sharing - $48.00 per night
3+ Cats sharing - Please call us for a quote.
Pensioner rate - $22.00 per night
Please Note: A minimum 2 night charge applies to all bookings.
Discounts available for long stays in excess of 21 nights.
Only 1 discount may be applied per booking.

Here at Holly Lodge, we do our very best to keep this a very special place for our guests. With a soft touch and passionate dedication we look after many much loved kitties; some that become regular visitors.
Our success with Holly Lodge has certainly been our personal hands-on care. Our years of experience and passion for what we do, means that we can provide caring like no other. It is a wonderful place.

Its never easy to leave your animals in the care of others, believe me we understand that all to well but be assured that your kitties will have a relaxing, calm and extremely loving environment to settle into while you are away. We look forward to welcoming you and your precious cats here to Holly Lodge to experience this for yourself.
