OUR
SERVICES
MINDING
Our cattery has always been popular with visitors because of the generous size of our enclosures. The enclosures are generally larger than you will find at other cat boarding facilities. Together with the homely furnishings and variety of sleep spaces with clean comfortable bedding makes it a real home away from home.
Single boarders will find a space that works for them whether they socially active characters or somewhat shy and placid little souls. We make adjustments to ensure they are happy with us during their stay. There are larger twin enclosures for multiple cats from the same family to share and help them feel safe in familiar company.
No matter which "room" they have at the inn, we make sure they get ample time to stretch their legs and enjoy some fun time away from their regular enclosure and then feel happy and safe back in the own space while they do what cats do best...sleep!
HEATING & COOLING
All our boarding areas have reverse cycle heating & cooling. We keep our indoor areas at a comfortable temperature all year round. For older cats we can provide extra warm bedding during the winter ensuring they are always warm and snug during their stay.
BEDDING
We supply comfortable clean bedding and blankets but we have found that many owners prefer to bring their cat's own bed or an item of clothing belonging to a member of the family. The familiar item and scents can aid in settling new boarders and we are therefore quite happy to accommodate these (just one item is more than enough). We supply everything for our boarders need during their stay, so no need to stress if you can't bring your cats favourite arm chair or queen bed (haha!).
FOOD
We keep a variety of quality foods to tempt all appetites but if they have specific dietary requirements (whether prescription or otherwise), bring your own food and we will happily follow your instructions. Be assured we have never had a cat go hungry! We provide a premium brand dry food (Royal Canin Sensible / Digestive) and water that is always on offer. There is a treat on offer if allowed, from time to time to make them feel extra special. Our tinned wet food and fresh kangaroo meat will tempt even the fussiest cats.
PLEASE NOTE - IMPORTANT:
We cannot provide veterinary prescription foods, so in cases where cats require a specific veterinary brand of food, owners will have to supply their own food.
VACCINATIONS & MEDICATION
Your cat must be desexed and vaccinated against feline upper respiratory tract disease (cat flu) and feline enteritis - which is highly contagious. Vaccinations should be boosted annually. If you haven't kept up your annual vaccinations, they should be done at least 14 days before the cat is to be boarded. Up to date certificates must be supplied upon arrival. Administration of extra medication should be discussed when making a booking, there is no additional charge.
PLEASE NOTE - IMPORTANT:
Under NO circumstance can we accept your cat to stay if there is no evidence given of current vaccinations at time of arrival. You must produce your certificate or a copy thereof at drop-off.
VETERINARY ATTENDANCE
All contact details will be taken upon arrival. We always consult with your cats own vet first but we are supported by the wonderful people at Lilydale Vet Centre and their new Vetland 24-hour Emergency Centre Hospital in Mitcham; which is our own vet on call - in an emergency they are happy to liaise with your vet if needed. We have wonderful vets in our area so there is no shortage of amazing care for our boarders.

1 Cat - $25.00 **
2 Cats sharing - $45.00
3 Cats sharing - $60.00
4+ Cats - Please call us for a personalized quote
Pensioner Rate - $20.00 per cat
** Please Note: A minimum 2 night charge applies to all bookings.
Discounts available for long stays in excess of 21 nights.

Our success with Holly Lodge has certainly been our personal hands-on care. Our years of experience and passion for what we do, means that we can provide caring like no other. It is a wonderful place.

Its never easy to leave your animals in the care of others, believe me we understand that all to well but be assured that your kitties will have a relaxing, calm and extremely loving environment to settle into while you are away.
